Accessibility Statement
The Israeli Building Center is committed to providing an accessible website that respects the dignity, privacy and independence of all its users, including users with disabilities. We invest ongoing effort to maintain and improve accessibility across coming-home.co.il in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and the WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Accessibility level
The Website targets compliance with the Israeli accessibility standard SI 5568 at WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Most pages meet this level today; we continue to test and refine.
Features in place
- Semantic HTML structure and clear page hierarchy.
- Keyboard-operable navigation across interactive elements.
- Focus states visible on links, buttons and form fields.
- Alt-text on meaningful images; decorative imagery marked aria-hidden.
- Color contrast verified against WCAG AA thresholds.
- Responsive layout that adapts to text resizing and to assistive zoom up to 200%.
prefers-reduced-motionrespected — animations are suppressed for visitors who have requested less motion.
Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible — particularly third-party-embedded content (e.g., external images supplied by developers) or recently added pages that have not completed full audit. We work to close such gaps as they are identified.
